About Children of God Count

My children and I were completely engaged in this book right from the very first powerful page. We think it is both educational and uplifting as the children learn to recognize and read numbers, but are also taught important stories and themes from the scriptures and church history. The book appealed to each of my children even with their different ages and reading levels, and because three of my children are African-American we all noticed and appreciated the beautiful art work that shows a spectrum of races and colors. Best of all, each page features an easy to read scripture from either the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, or a quote from latter-day prophets. I am looking forward to challenging my children to memorize each scripture as we continue to read and enjoy this delightful book as a family.

This delightful new book perfectly teaches children counting and gospel principles at once. Virginia Oldroyd, author of the original LDS poem "Baptism Day", bridges numbers and real examples from scriptures and gospel topics.
